One PROUD Dad

This past Sunday was the first ever, kids only, Tuff Kid 'race'. It was less of a race though, and more like a big group run. There were several waves, sorted by age, with each older wave doing a slightly longer course. My girls were in the youngest (5/6) wave, and they ran 500m. The course(s) were all on grass (Queen E park), and had several obstacles for the kids to navigate: barriers to go over, a hanging tarp to duck under, a rock/stream crossing, and a fast-feet rope obstacle.

It was absolutely amazing

Dave at Distance Runwear came up with this event, and he is really on to something.
